This is a notice of intent for a sole-source contract to repair surgical instruments, flexible scopes, and positioning equipment, including end-of-life equipment with hard-to-find parts. The contract consists of a one-year base period from September 17, 2026, through September 16, 2027, plus a one-year option period from September 17, 2027, through September 16, 2028. The intended contractor, Surgi-Tron of Maryland, provides daily door-to-door repair services. The acquisition will follow FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and no solicitation will be issued. Comments may be submitted to the NIH Clinical Center Contract Specialist.
