PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE – NOTICE OF INTENT NOI-NIAID-2173153 NAICS – 423610 This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Brewster Creek Controls, LLC to procure replacement equipment/components for two existing autoclave machines in use at the BSL4 laboratory at Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, MT. The Rocky Mountain Laboratories, of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), houses one of only four BSL level 4 laboratory facilities in the U.S. Currently two existing steam sterilizers (Steris Model SLH autoclaves), which are critical equipment for the entire maximum containment operation, require new computer systems that must be installed on the next scheduled maintenance shutdown that is fast approaching. The autoclaves must be kept in consistent and reliable operation to support lab research and to maintain compliance with CDC Select Agent requirements.
