This is a follow-on order for servers previously purchased. These servers analyze raw data in several thousands of high resolution 2D image, which occupied hundreds of gigabytes (GB) to several terabytes (TB) storage space. Also, the informatics method processing the images, which requires dedicated Graphic Processing Unit (GPU), to speed up the reconstruction of 3D protein structure. These GPU servers will allow for more power, memory, speed, and storage space to handle extremely large data files generated by cryoEM. Additionally, these servers are currently in use and calibrated to our internal systems.
