PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE NOI-NIAID-2013666 NAICS – 541380 This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Abveris, Inc to procure Propriety Abveris hyperimmune DiversimAb mice, that have been engineered for expanded epitope coverage, with immunized NIAID-provided immunogen. Hybridoma generation will be performed on selected titer-positive mice. Resulting hybridomas will be screened in a high throughput ELISA format to generate a panel of hybridoma cell lines secreting target-specific antibodies. Follow-up screening will include screening in the presence of a human serum matrix. Hybridomas of interest will be scaled in culture and cryopreserved for subsequent Partner-based confirmation assessment. Hybridomas of top interest can optionally be subcloned, sequenced, and undergo further downstream screens according to the Partner’s requirements. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
