This pre-solicitation, sources sought/notice of intent that is being conducted in part as a market survey to find other qualified organizations that could fulfill this requirement apart from Mediso USA, LLC. Small business concerns, 8(a) small businesses, Woman-owned, small disadvantaged businesses, HUBZone small businesses and Service-disabled Veteran small business concerns with the appropriate corporate infrastructure and operational capabilities to adequately provide the services described in the Statement of Work and specifications should respond to this notice. The intended procurement will be classified under NAICS 621511. If no other qualified providers can be located, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Office of Acquisitions, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Mediso USA, LLC for the procurement of small animal PET/CT imaging system, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR) 6.302-1. This procurement will provide NIH Center for Infectious Disease Imaging, with preclinical research targeting early and accurate diagnosis of infectious diseases in animal models of disease.
