The National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke’s (NINDS) Spatial Navigation and Memory Unit (SNMU) Laboratory has a requirement for two fixed-wavelength (920 nm and 1064 nm) compact femtosecond lasers that are brand name or equal to Coherent Inc.’s Axon 920-1 TPC and Axon 1064-1 TPC. The Equipment will be used by SNMU to perform research studies focusing on the synaptic plasticity in the medial entorhinal cortex (MEC) during spatial learning.
