This request is to SEEK SOURCES ONLY, therefore; please do not request SOW and other documentation as this notice is only for market research purposes. Interested parties can provide a corporate capability statement if your company's capability expertise falls within this area. NIMHD is soliciting services to provide estimates of the economic burden of health disparities by race/ethnicity and SES for 2017-2018 (or most recent data) at the US national, state, and sub-state levels, where racial/ethnic minority data are sufficient to allow for valid and reliable estimates. These estimates shall be calculated using methodologies comparable to the ones that were used to calculate the estimates for 2006 and 2014 cited in Thomas A. LaVeist, Darrell Gaskin, and Patrick Richard, Estimating the Economic Burden of Racial Health Inequalities in the United States. International Journal of Health Services, 2011, 41(2):231-238 to ensure consistency. Scope of Work entails: 1. Propose at least two but no more than five models with associated datasets to estimate the economic burden of health disparities 2. Demonstrate strengths and limitations for proposed models 3. Calibrate models to estimate the economic burden of health disparities 4. Present rationale and context for use of calibrated models 5. Generate results in various visualization and narrative formats relevant to different audiences (e.g. scientific, stakeholders, community)
