This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to Beckman Coulter for maintenance services on a CytoFLEX LX Flow Cytometer. The period of performance is from March 1, 2026, through September 30, 2026. Services will be performed at the National Eye Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. The justification is that Beckman Coulter is the sole OEM manufacturer and the only source for factory-trained technicians and proprietary parts required to maintain this critical research equipment. While this is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may submit a capability statement for government consideration.
