This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07, Effective 08-31-2020. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516, Laboratory Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. The National Institute of Health, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, is seeking to acquire a new Nitrogen Generator to replace an older and obsolete N2 generator that is used on a daily basis to analyze clinical research patient samples. The N2 generator is an essential bioanalytical instrument in the CPRU lab which facilitates the progress of all human biological sample analyses for ongoing clinical research studies being conducted in collaboration with NIAID, NIDDK, NHGRI, NCI, and NICHD.
