NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT REQUISITION NO: 5543282 INTENDED SOURCE: Beckman Coulter Inc PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 12/27/2019 – 12/26/2020 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This contract action is for the acquisition of supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). The National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS), Office of Acquisitions (OA) intends to award a single source purchase order to Beckman Coulter Inc., 250 S Kraemer Blvd, Brea, CA 92821-6232, for the purchase of the AU481-10E Chemistry Analyzer Maintenance Agreement. License. Item No. Description Qty. 001 AU481-10e, Win7, Chemistry 1 Ea. AU480 with ISE Period of Performance: 12/27/2019 – 12/26/2020 The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811219 "Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance" and a size standard of $20500000.00. The anticipated period of performance will be for a twelve (12) month base period with four (4) option years starting on 12/27/2019 – 12/26/2020. NIEHS will solicit and negotiate directly with Beckman Coulter Inc. and no solicitation will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties must express their interest and must be submitted in writing via email to Tanya Redfearn at shields3@niehs.nih.gov and are due by 12:59 PM, December 16, 2019. No faxed documents will be accepted. If no responsive statements are received by the due date, an award will be made to Beckman Coulter Inc.
