Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, including 8(a) small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing scRNAseq sequencing and analysis services. Service to include performing high-throughput single-cell transcriptome profiling on the 10x Genomics Chromium Platform, utilizing cell-by-cell 3’ end counting of mRNA transcripts. The NICHD has the ability to construct single-cell libraries ourselves, with assistance of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) services. Vendor must be able to provide end-to-end services, allowing a more detailed analysis. The analysis will include the gene expression analysis, T-SNE, UMAP, and aggregate analysis. Sample provided by NICHD. Description: 1. 10x Chromium single cell RNA-Seq library sequencing - Qty 80 2. Data Analysis – Qty 80 3. Hard Disk (12 TB) - Qty 2 EA Data analysis to includes - Demultiplexing - Quality control - Sequence alignment - Quantifying expression levels of each cell - Clustering of single cells to identify subpopulations - Aggregate analysis combining multiple samples together to enable comparison across conditions (advanced analysis) 1. Interested small business firms with the capability and authorization of providing all the required products and services/support shall submit a capability statement to assist the Government in determining in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b)whether this procurement will be set-aside for any of the programs described above. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 541380 with a size standard of $16.5m. All respondents are requested to identify their firm’s size and type of business. Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide (a) capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government’s requirements for the above. All respondents must include delivery timeframe/turnaround time. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the products and service/support above. A copy of the capability statement must be received via email to robinsti@mail.nih.gov Attn Tina Robinson prior to 9:00 a.m. eastern standard time on May 21, 2020. Capability statement must reference solicitation# NICHD-20-104. Submission by email must also reference solicitation # NICHD-20-104 on the subject line of the email.
