A constant supply of Liquid Nitrogen is essential to the research of many members of Building 5. Interruption of these element of experimentation to Building 5 could critically hinder research work in Building 5. This extension of the previous contract will help us manage the product properly through approximately the next year. LMB has increased usage of LiqN2 and are adding capital to an existing contract with Cryo. This increase will assist LCP in managing the buildings LiqN2 supply. Please modify P.O.# 75N94020P00348 to add an additional $25,000 funds to cover LMB's usage. Not only has Cryo maintained our units for the building, they also have an established relationship with the needs of the personnel that utilizes these machines. Switching venders would add a variable that could create an inconsistent operational standard and damage the quality assurance level that the scientists need for consistent experimental results.
