The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD) has a requirement to procure Single Nucleus RNA sequencing on diverse Triple Negative Breast Cancer of African Americans and European Americans. Purpose of the Requirement The purpose of this procurement is to secure single nucleus RNA sequencing service for a previously planned project, Single-Cell RNA-Seq to describe differences in immune cell profiles between African American and European American patients with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). We will provide 20 samples (10 AA and 10 EA) of frozen tissues from racially diverse TNBC, obtained from Columbia University Medical Center. From Single nucleus RNA sequencing, higher resolution of cellular differences and the function of each individual cell can be identified. Scope of Work The scope of work is for the contractor to conduct single nucleus RNA sequencing on samples to be provided by the NIMHD DIR genomics lab at NIH. Sequencing work will include isolating nuclei from tissues, library preparation using 10x genomics platform with quality control, sequencing of the library products and deliver the data from the sequencing. The samples consist of 10 tumor (T) and 10 normal (N) pairs (total 20) obtained from African American (5T/5 N) and European American (5T/5N) breast cancer patients. SEE ATTACHED FOR MORE INFORMATION
