The Laboratory of Heart Disease Phenomics requires a clinical biobank with ample banked EDTA plasma from disease free patients of a similar sociodemographic background to our heart failure cohort in order to to provide mechanistic insight and clinical relevance to the observed associations with proteomic and metabolomic signatures and their associations with mortality in heart failure patients.
