SOURCES SOUGHT BACKGROUND: The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (AAIHS), Santa Fe Indian Health Center (SFIHC) Pharmacy Department currently utilizes AudioCare (Mumps AudioFax) automated appointment reminder system and automated medication refill request system for Santa Clara Health Center. These systems are able to work with the service units RPMS system. A change in this system would impact direct patient care. PURPOSE/STATEMENT OF WORK: The Santa Fe Service Unit has an automated appointment reminder system in place in order to reduce the no-show rates at their clinic. This equipment also allows patients to request refills over the telephone which streamlines the medication refill process at the Santa Clara Health Clinic. To Add an AudioCare server so the Santa Fe Indian Health Center will have the ability to allow patients to request refills over the phone and help streamline the medication refill process at SFIHC. Technical requirements: (Brand Name) Rack mounted base server with 4-line capacity and windows 7 operating system. Automated system to remind patients of their appointments which give patients the option to confirm, cancel or request reschedule of appointment. Automated medication refill system which allows patients to request refills of medications. Automated systems are compatible with hospitals RPMS computer system. Includes maintenance and software support. Special requirements: A change in the company that supplies this equipment service would impact direct patient care. Utilize the information received with future acquisition planning efforts and potential Buy Indian set aside. HOW TO RESPOND: This is a sources sought notice under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is attempting to locate qualified and eligible Small Business Indian Firms, “Native American Indian Owned and Operated businesses,” that can provide services/supplies to the Indian Health Service. This is a request for information only, this is not a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary with no obligation or incurred cost by the government. Provide with response – E-mail response.
