The North Slope Borough (NSB) provides an integrated, three-part, public health oriented program consisting of community health aide/practitioner, emergency medical and substance abuse treatment services to the communities of Utqiagvik, Atqasuk, Kaktovik, Nuiqsut, Point Lay and Wainwright, Alaska. At the option of NSB, these services may be provided to the communities of Anaktuvuk Pass, Alaska at no additional cost to the Indian Health Service.
