PURPOSE: The purpose of this contract is to provide pick-up and disposal of Bio-Medical Waste. SPECIFICATIONS: The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items and services necessary to provide complete handling, transport, and disposal of infectious bio-medical waste from the Fort Yates Hospital, Fort Yates, ND. The contractor shall furnish all resources required to provide bio-medical waste removal/disposal including disposal containers, tracking manifests, certifications of destruction, monthly billings, copies of permits and other documents as necessary to satisfy the performance of this contract. The contractor will provide and make available all appropriate documentation sufficient to satisfy the local, state, and federal laws and regulations/requirements for disposal of both regulated and non-regulated bio-medical waste. Priority will be given to the Fort Yates Hospital due to the healthcare service component to this SOW in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.
