BACKGROUND: The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service, Pine Ridge Comprehensive Health Care Facility (PRCHCF) are requesting for offers for a contractor to deliver surgical fragmentation sets in strict accordance with the attached Specifications. Per FAR 6.302-1(c)(1) the Government has identified a specific brand name and will only accept offers using the brand name justification - Brand Name Only is attached. This Sources Sought Notice is for the Great Plains Area, Indian Health Service, Pine Ridge Comprehensive Health Care Facility, issued in accordance with FAR 5.101. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources for providing Fragmentation Sets at the Pine Ridge Comprehensive Health Care Facility. This notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award OR to prelude a solicitation expected to be issued from closure of notice. The 45 bed Pine Ridge Hospital, serving the Lakota Indian population of more than 17,000, is the largest in the Great Plains Area. A 16-physician staff sees medical, obstetrical, pediatric, and surgical patients. The facility located in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, includes full service general surgery, an obstetrical ward, and dental. Kyle and Wanblee Health Centers and two health stations (Manderson and Lacreek) operate within the Pine Ridge Service Unit. Description of Supplies: The Contractor shall provide Fragmentation Sets for Podiatry and Orthopedic surgeries. (Se Delivery Timeframe: Delivery date shall be 90 days after award.
