The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility is requesting for offers for a contractor to 2-day training workshop on Culturally Responsive Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Substance Use, 2-day workshop. Services shall be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 03/05/2024 – 03/06/2024. EVALUATION CRITERIA: The Government reserves the right to issue a single award or multiple awards to contractor(s) whose quote represents the best value as defined by FAR 2.101. In determining best value, Price and other Evaluation Factors will be considered: Past Performance, Experience, Qualifications, and Logistics. The Evaluation Factors and significant sub factors when combined are significantly more important than cost or price. The socio-economic status of an offer may also be considered, should one or more quotes represent the best value. Clauses and Provisions: 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services (Nov 1999) The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Act prohibits smoking within any indoor facility (or portion thereof), whether owned, leased, or contracted for, that is used for the routine or regular provision of: (i) kindergarten, elementary, or secondary education or library services or (ii) health or day care services that are provided to children under the age of 18. The statutory prohibition also applies to indoor facilities that are constructed, operated, or maintained with Federal funds. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources for providing 2-day training workshop on Culturally Responsive for Substance Use, 2-day workshop. This training will be aimed at providing education to the counseling staff at Chinle Hospital and satellite sites in the area on ways to deliver substance use treatment to members of the Navajo Nation through Chinle Service Unit Health Promotions at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, Chinle, AZ, 86503. This notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award OR to prelude a solicitation expected to be issued from closure of notice. CCHCF provides medical care for approximately 35,000 Navajo. Serving a rural area, many of our patients travel 100 miles round trip to receive care and do not have electricity or running water in their homes. And, most of our elderly patients speak only Navajo, and live according to traditional Navajo cultural practices. The Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility and Ambulatory Care Center is a 60 bed inpatient hospital and outpatient facility. Services offered are: Adult inpatient and Pediatric Inpatient Care, Outpatient Primary Care, Adult Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Podiatry, OBGYN, Labor & Delivery, Women's Health, Midwifery, Mental Health, Pharmacy, Optometry, Dental, PT, OT, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Lab, Public Health and School Health. We live in one of the most scenic areas of the country, and offer almost unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreational activities. Description of Supplies: The Contractor shall provide services.
