BACKGROUND: The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF) is requesting for offers for a contractor to deliver BPA for direct patient care, pessaries and associated supplies for the Women Health Clinic in strict accordance to the attached Specifications. Per FAR 6.302-1(c)(2) CCHCF has identified a specific brand name, but will accept brand-name or equal descriptions. This Sources Sought Notice is for the Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Service Unit, Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility issued in accordance with FAR 5.101. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential sources for providing a BPA for direct patient care supplies for Women’s Health Clinic (WHC). This notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award OR to prelude a solicitation expected to be issued from closure of notice. CCHCF provides medical care for approximately 35,000 Navajo. Serving a rural area, many of our patients travel 100 miles round trip to receive care and do not have electricity or running water in their homes. And, most of our elderly patients speak only Navajo, and live according to traditional Navajo cultural practices. The Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility and Ambulatory Care Center is a 60-bed inpatient hospital and outpatient facility. Services offered are: Adult inpatient and Pediatric Inpatient Care, Outpatient Primary Care, Adult Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Podiatry, OBGYN, Labor & Delivery, Women's Health, Midwifery, Mental Health, Pharmacy, Optometry, Dental, PT, OT, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Lab, Public Health and School Health. We live in one of the most scenic areas of the country, and offer almost unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreational activities. Description of Services: BPA for direct patient care supplies (Pessaries) to be ordered on an “as needed” basis. Non-surgical treatment to manage a number of gynecological conditions, including pelvic support defects and stress urinary incontinence. Physicians also use pessaries to assess symptoms and assist in determining surgical options. A wide variety of pessary configurations is necessary to permit optimal fit for patients' needs.
