Whiteriver Service Unit IT department is seeking a vendor to come on-site to conduct hard drive destruction service for Whiteriver IRM Department. In order to meet IT Security Policy on DIS-SOP-16-04 Data Destruction and Media Sanitation local IRM Department needs to properly dispose of all media that could contain Patient Information. The company/vendor will come on-site to grind/shred the hard drives into small pieces and document the disposal of each device. A local IT representative from the IRM Department needs to be available as a witness during this operation to verify all devices with data is properly destroyed.
