It is the intent of the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service to acquire onsite dietary and nutritional services under a non-personal service contract for the Phoenix Area Indian Health Services (IHS) Desert Visions Youth Wellness Center located in Sacaton, AZ; and virtual, and onsite dietary and nutritional services for the Nevada Skies Youth Wellness Center located in Wadsworth, NV. Services shall be performed in accordance with the following scope of work and terms and conditions contained herein. The regional treatment center (RTC) (Desert Visions Youth Wellness Center is a 24 bed residential treatment center and Nevada Skies Youth Wellness Center is a 16 bed residential treatment center), is accredited by the Joint Commission. The RTC offers a biopsychosocial treatment approach for Native American youth between the ages of 12 and 18. The RTC primarily serves the Native American Tribes for the states of Arizona, Nevada, Utah and California. Desert Visions is located approximately 40 miles southwest of Phoenix, AZ and Nevada Skies is located approximately 30 miles east of Reno, NV.
