Indian Health Service is utilizing this tool as part of market research. Your responses will assist IHS in the development of its possible RFP and in determining whether any type of small business set-aside is possible for this procurement or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) is conducting this Sources Sought to identify contractors who possess the capabilities to provide The Contractor is requested to provide Respiratory Therapist. The Indian Health Service (IHS), Phoenix Area Office (PAO), has a requirement to continue Respiratory Therapist Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC) in Phoenix, Arizona. The Contractor is to provide “AS NEEDED” Respiratory Care services (Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), for a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. This contract covers the period of one (1) base year after contract award and four (4) one (1) year option periods, which may be exercised at the IHS discretion and are subject to the Contractor’s satisfactory performance of the Services under this contract. Shift times and schedules are subject to change based on the medical needs of the patient population and hospital/clinic operations. LOCATION: PIMC Respiratory Therapy Department SHIFTS: Total shifts worked annually shall be in accordance to the total number of work hours allocated for the year by PIMC. 30 minute lunch breaks are included in shift hours and Government does not pay time taken for lunch. Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) Day shift: 6:00 A.M. – 6:30 P.M. (0600-1830 hrs.) or 6:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. (0600-1430 hrs.) or 10:00 A.M. –6:30 P.M. (1000-1830 hrs.). Evening shift: 2:00 P.M. – 10:30 P.M. (1400-2230 hrs.) Night shift: 6:00 P.M - 6:30 A.M. (1800-0630 hrs.) or 10:00 P.M. – 6:30 A.M. (2200-0630 hrs.) Tribal members who receive care at PIMC are often residents of the greater Phoenix area and hail from Tribes throughout the U.S. PIMC also provides specialty care to rural and remote reservation health care facilities in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.
