The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service announces solicitation 75H70621Q00008 for Individual Quarters Exterior Improvements for the Fort Thompson Health Center, Fort Thompson, Buffalo County, South Dakota. The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC (Federal Acquisition Circular) 2021-05. This is a Total Indian Economic Enterprise, as defined in 25 U.S.C. § 47, the Buy Indian Act, Small Business Set-aside solicitation. NAICS code is 236118 – Residential Remodelers, Small Business Size Standard is $39.5 Million; Product Service Code is Z2FA – Repair or Alternation of Family Housing Facilities. The GPAIHS anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Purchase Order to repair and renovate one (1) three-bedroom and one (1) two-bedroom Government Houses/Quarters in accordance with the statement of work. Houses/Quarters are located at the Fort Thompson IHS Health Center housing compound, Fort Thompson Service Unit, Buffalo County, Fort Thompson, South Dakota. Total project completion time will be 60-calendar days after contract award. The quoted “unit price” shall be an all-inclusive cost. All-inclusive cost is defined to include travel, lodging, per diem, fringe benefits, federal, state and local taxes (contact the local Tribal TERO Office to see if taxes are applicable), plus all other costs pertinent to the performance of this purchase order. The Contractor shall provide for all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all other necessary elements to complete the projects/tasks. All work completed shall be in compliance with the contract and all plans, drawings, and specifications. The Contractor will be required to remove and replace windows, remove and replace siding, remove and replace exterior doors and storm doors, remove and replace garage doors, and remove gutters and downspouts. The Indian Preference Clause in employment and subcontracting is made a part of this solicitation and resultant contracts. BID BOND, PAYMENT, AND PERFORMANCE BONDS ARE REQUIRED.
