REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) Data Ray Scanners and Printers____ POINTS OF CONTACT _Felecia Chavez_, Contract Specialist 505-368-6086 _felecia.chavez@ihs.gov INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS Please reference solicitation no. _IHS1408589_in the subject line of the submitted questions and quote. QUESTIONS Questions regarding this Request for Quote (RFQ) shall be submitted in writing via email to Felecia Chavez, Contracting Specialist at felecia.chavez@ihs.gov no later than 4:00 PM, Mountain Time, on September 22, 2020. SUBMISSION OF QUOTE This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) on the Beta.Sam for DataRay Scanners and Printers in accordance with the Pricing Schedule and specification sheets for each item of equipment. All Clauses in the Beta.Sam are applicable to this solicitation The contractor shall submit one (1) electronic copy of their quote via email to Felecia.chavez@ihs.gov no later than 4:00 PM, Mountain Time, on September 22, 2020. Quotes shall be typed on single-sided pages, no less than 12-point (pitch) type font and shall not exceed five (10) pages total. All pages shall be appropriately numbered. The quotation should address the following evaluation factors: Factor 1: Technically Acceptable. To be deemed technically acceptable, the contractor must: Be an authorized reseller/distributer of the equipment they are quoting; and Be capable of providing the equipment as listed in the Pricing Schedule and specification sheets or provide documentation that equipment quoted other than that listed in the pricing schedule and specification sheets meets or exceeds the specifications of the equipment listed in the pricing schedule and specification sheets, additionally the quote must meet the designated delivery date. Factor 2: Price. Price will be evaluated to determine whether it is fair and reasonable. EVALUATION OF QUOTES The Government will make an award to the contractor who is determined to be the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable. To be technically acceptable the contractor shall meet the following criteria: Factor 1: Technically Acceptable. The contractor must: Be an authorized reseller/distributer of equipment being quoted; and 2. Be capable of providing the equipment as listed in the Pricing Schedule and specification sheets or provide documentation that equipment quoted other than that listed in the pricing schedule and specification sheets meets or exceeds the specifications of the equipment listed in the pricing schedule and specification sheets, additionally the quote must meet the designated delivery date. Factor 2: Price. Price will be evaluated to determine whether it is fair and reasonable. At the time of evaluation, the Contract Specialist will evaluate all quotes to determine the lowest priced quote. At that time, only the lowest priced quote will be evaluated for technical acceptability. Should the lowest priced quote be found not technically acceptable, the next lowest priced quote will be evaluated for technical acceptability. The process will continue until a lowest priced, technically acceptable quote is found.
