Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises interested and capable of providing the supplies/services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. The Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), located at 4212 N. 16th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85016 is seeking an authorized dealer or contractor qualified to provide two Siemen’s Atellica CH 930 analyzers, and two Atellica IM 1300 analyzers, along with 4 option years of service maintenance. This is a brand name only requirement, and will be replacing the current equipment which is presently under lease. Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized (or certified) reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM, if applicable. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. The delivery of gray market items to the IHS in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract. Accordingly, the IHS reserves the right to enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the IHS’s election, allowing the Vendor to replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to an IHS medical facility upon discovery of such items. Important information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The proposed North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (500 employees). Notice to potential offerors: All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov at the time of submitting an offer.
