It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the supplies/services described below. The objective of this RFI is to identify vendors interested and capable of entering into a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the ready availability of an adequate number of surgical implants of varying sizes and other necessary surgical supplies, to perform orthopedic and podiatric surgical procedures within the Indian Health Service Phoenix Area. Interested parties are being sought to further disseminate information regarding a planned vendor fair. Please provide point of contact information, and capability statements and/or product brochures. Vendor shall list MAS/GWAC schedule numbers that may be applicable to this requirement. A dual notice is being posted to GSA eBuy to reach schedule holders. This requirement has not been restricted to open market, as of this posting. After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government intends to proceed with the acquisition and a subsequent solicitation may be published open market or through GSA eBuy.
