Description THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Radiology & Imaging Sciences(R&IS), intends to enter into a contract on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 to procure a contract with the manufacturer of ETO Gas Sterilizers .The sole source requirement will be awarded to Anderson Products 3202 Caroline Drive Haw River, NC 27258. This is a non-personnel services contract to provide preventative maintenance on specified pieces of Medivators Endoscope Reprocessing equipment. The detailed Performance Work Statement is attached. If there are other sources able to supply the required material, they must respond by submitting a capability statement within 10 days of publication of this synopsis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
