The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Nursing Department , Oncology & Critical Care Services intends to i to enter into a contract on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 to procure a contract with the manufacturer of Bravo ph Monitoring System to replace the current sytem which has reached its end-of-life expectancy.. The sole source requirement will be with Medtronic Covidian Sales LLC dba Given Imaging 3555 Koger Boulevard Suite 200 Duluth, GA 30096 If there are other sources able to supply the required material, they must respond by submitting a capability statement within 10 days of publication of this synopsis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
