The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center intends to procure specific products referenced in the attached Request for Quote. The purpose of this urgent acquisition is to obtain ISO certified cleanroom supplies required for the Center for Cellular Engineering (CCE) labs to manufacture human cells and gene therapy processing Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13 and Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. REGULATORY AUTHORITY The resultant contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-01, October, 2020. This acquisition is conducted under the procedures as prescribed in FAR subpart 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures at an amount not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. STATUTORY AUTHORITY This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-1 (b) (1), Soliciting from a single source and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Contracts awarded using FAR Part 13-SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements. The solicitation number is HHSNCCOPC21-002578 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Offerors shall submit their quotes no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time(EST) on Thursday December 24, 2020. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The Contractor shall provide specific detail response to the requirements listed on the attached Request for Quote. Interested offerors shall submit quotations electronically to Gail Akinbinu(gakinbinu@nih.gov), Contract Specialist via email no later than December 24, 2020 3:00p.m.. Eastern Standard Time.
