This justification for other than full and open competition supports a modification to Purchase Order number HHSN261201600244P for an extension of the contract after completion of its base period and four previously exercised option periods under FAR Clause 52.217-9. The extension period is for two months of services beyond the completion date of June 25, 2021. FAR 52.217-8 was included in the original solicitation and in the resulting contract however, it was not evaluated at the time of award. This justification supports the extension period by evaluating the clause, its pricing, and is completed in accordance with FAR 17.207(f) and FAR Part 6 after the original award date. The original contract was solicitated as a competitive 8(a) set-side awarded to W&T Travel Services LLC. This modification will extend services at the per month firm-fixed-price rate of $102,231.49 as specified under Option Period 4 of the current contract.
