This is a NOTICE OF JUSTIFICATION AND APPROVAL FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The National Hansen's Disease Program has issued a modification to University of Puerto Rico - Medical Science Campus contract number HHSH258201800012C to extend the existing contract by 6 months according to FAR 52.217-8. This modification will ensure continued, uninterrupted care for outpatient Hansen's Disease (leprosy) patients in the San Juan, PR area. Services include diagnosing, screening, outpatient treatment, case management, coordination with health care specialists, medication management and follow-up care.
