Introduction: This is a Small Business, Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources; (2) whether they are small businesses, HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541930 for the proposed acquisition. Your response to this information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under NAICS code 541930 should not submit a response to this notice. Project Requirements: The Contractor will be required to provide Translation and Interpretation Services. Anticipated Period of Performance: The period of performance is expected to be for one twelve-month base period and four twelve month option periods. Capability Statement: Respondents should show their abilities to provide the technical aspects of the SOW and also the capability to provide the expected administrative work on the contract. Include the following in your responses :(a) Staff/Company experience and their capability to provide translation and interpreting services as it related to this SOW, (b) Corporate Experience/Capability ;(c) Licenses, Insurance and Warranties, (d) Record keeping and contract administration capabilities; (e) The contractor should provide information as to whether they have been contractors on prior Government contracts. Information Submission Instructions: All capability statements sent in response to this Sources Sought Notice must be submitted electronically (via email) to Aseia Chaudhry, Contracting Officer, at aseia.chaudhry@nih.gov, in either MS Word or Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), on or before 9:00 a.m. Eastern on January 18, 2022. All responses must be received by the specified due date and time in order to be considered. Submission of Capability Statements and Delivery Instructions: In 15 pages or less, respondents should submit a capability statement of their organization which demonstrates their ability to supply the services described in the statement of work. They should also include any other information that may be helpful in developing or finalizing the acquisition requirements. Responses must reference the sources sought number HHS-NIH-OD-OLAO-SS-22-004 and include the following: (1) Name and Address of the Company, (2) Size and type of business, pursuant to the applicable NAICS code 541930 (3) Point of contact with name, title, phone, fax and email, (4) DUNS number, (5) Contractors' capability statements should address the services required in the statement of work and any other important or unique considerations relevant to the services required (6) List the organizations to whom similar types of services have been previously provided. ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. THE CLOSING DATE FOR RESPONSES IS DUE on January 19, 2022 @ 10:00 AM EST.
