POP: 5/23/22 – 5/22/24 Anticipated award date: subject to change 5/23/22 Estimated $ 25,500.00 Type acquisition: FFP NAIC code: 926150 Reference number: HCPQ1-2022-62816 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The Office of Laboratory Science and Safety (OLSS), intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to American National Standards Institute, Incorp (ANSI), New York, NY. ANSI is the USA representative to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the producer of ISO laboratory accreditation and certification standards. OLSS maintains a network license agreement with ANSI to make certain ISO standards available to CDC laboratories and laboratories must have access to the current versions of these standards in order to maintain accreditation and assurance that they continue to meet international standards for quality. There are no substitutes for these ISO standards. CDC wishes to purchase (ANSI), annual access to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) laboratory accreditation and certification standards. ANSI is the only vendor that can provide this requirement for CDC. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-l(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(l). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This product must provide the following needs: It will annually access to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) laboratory accreditation and certification standards; It will be made and produced in the USA: It will offer network licenses for ISO standards; It will give CDC laboratories access to current international accreditation and certification standards; It will provide the full scope of ISO laboratory accreditation and certification standards required by OLSS. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
