The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory’s, (NPPTL) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order, subject to availabilty of funds, to ADSO Enterprises for continuing support to the following specific components: The definition and development of strategies, to provide health and safety guidance to the American workforce when natural or man-made disasters occur, to implement the recommendations of the NASEM consensus workshop and report. The Frameworks for Protecting Workers and the Public from Inhalation Hazards protecting all American workers and the general public from inhalation hazards. And strategies to address legal, regulatory, technical, financial, logistical and or operational aspects of the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory’s, (NPPTL) decision making process concerning employing 3rd-party laboratories to support its mission. ADSO Enterprises and staff has been an intergal part in the development of these strategies from NPPTL’s initial effort. ADSO Enterprise and staff possess the high quality of analysis needed that range from technical, managerial and legal aspects to further this mission. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested parties may identify their interest and submit documentation of their capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
