The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service is issuing a sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE), Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) and any other Small Business Concerns having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for Decentralized Medications Management Systems and Automated Medication Dispensing Cabinets for Multiple Locations. The GPAIHS intends to solicit for the lease/rental and SMA (Service Maintenance Agreement) of Decentralized Medications Management Systems and Automated Medication Dispensing Cabinets for multiple hospitals, health centers and clinics within North and South Dakota. The contract term shall be for a base year with four one-year options. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to the lease or rental of equipment for this procurement is: 532490 Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing and the Classification Code assigned is: W065 Lease or Rental of Equipment: Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This is a request for capability information and does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The Federal Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE for IEE, SET-ASIDE for ISBEE, SET-ASIDE TOTAL SMALL BUSINESSS OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. IHS anticipates a firm fixed-price contract awarded on an all-or-none basis.
