The objective of this order is to purchase service support from the Contractor who shall utilize SEM/EDS, XPS, and cryo-SEM to fulfil the Government’s needs of characterizing and analyzing nanoparticle-coated medical device materials, bacterial biofilms of BSL-2 microorganisms formed on metal coupons and mammalian tissue cells. The outcomes of this work will provide the necessary quantitative and qualitative data for evaluating the stability and efficacy of NPs containing materials.
