Requirements The Contractor shall provide a system comprising hardware, software, cables, antennas, and accessories implementing all the functions of a 5G gNodeB that operate in the FR1 sub-6 GHz frequency spectrum. The proposed system shall have the following salient characteristics: Compatible with Valid8 5G cellular network emulator. Operate in the FR1 sub-6 GHz frequency spectrum. Compliant with at least 3GPP R15 specifications. Support expandability to future specifications of cellular communication technology. Support the control and modification of output power. Support data capture and interpretation. Support reporting of the network key performance indicators like media received, call connect time, call duration, jitter, packet loss, latency, and connection throughput. Facilitate 5G Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communications (URLLC). Support FR1 NR carrier bandwidth of at least 20 MHz. Support expansion to operate in 5G FR2 mmWave spectrum. Support remote operation and management. Can be installed in an indoor laboratory setup. Supports over-the-air transmission and allows access to antenna ports for test conducted using cables as the medium of propagation. Include shipping, installation, configuration with existing lab equipment, and training. Option for service agreement to include support, maintenance, repairs, and future software and hardware upgrades. Responses shall be submitted to Min Jie Zeng via email at minjie.zeng@fda.hhs.gov.
