The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the tasks and deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The ORA/ORS laboratories are in need of a preventive maintenance agreement for annual calibrations of the VIDAS and VITEK immuno-analyzer by the parent company, BioMerieux, an ISO 17025 requirement, with Service Reports / Certificates of Calibration to be issued following each service. The calibrations shall be appropriate for the range of measurement associated with the instrument. Requirements TASK 1 – Annual support and preventative maintenance plan: At a minimum, the support plan shall cover engineer labor and travel, at least one annual scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) visit per year, any repairs needed on the instrument during the coverage period, factory-certified replacement parts, and technical support. Through the service agreement, the contractor shall provide the necessary personnel to execute on-site preventative maintenance and repair and other services as identified in the SOW. TASK 2 – Computer upgrade: Many of the systems within the FDA labs require a computer and software refresh in order to prolong the lifetime and usability of the systems. These existing computers are running operation systems, such as Windows XP, which are no longer supported.
