To add a diode array detector (DAD) to an existing LTQ Velos mass spectrometer (MS)/Vanquish liquid chromatography (UHPLC) system. Both detectors (DAD and MS) would be used together to provide three dimensions of data and provide a confirmatory analysis with quantification capabilities to the current mass spectral identification. When coupled to proper chromatography methods, three dimensions of analysis will provide a very scientific and accurate means to identify and measure the compounds detected. Per peak, the use of diode array detection UV/VIS (for compounds with chromophores) coupled to mass spectrometry allows for retention time, UV/VIS spectral analysis, and mass ion analysis. The diode array detector adds an additional quality element of reproducibility of injections and UHPLC performance and a standalone analytical ability for UV/VIS spectral analysis. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed-price purchase order as result of this solicitation. Please see the attached RFQ for complete requirement details and quotation submission instructions.
