Title: Notice of Intent to Sole Source – VWR Animal Rearing Chambers VIA GSA Description(s): The National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS) intends to award a Purchase Order via GSA to VRW, Building One, STE 200, 100 Matsonford Rd, Radnor, PA. 19087, for VWR Animal Rearing Chambers. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423490 and the business size standard is 150 Employees. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that VRW is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required equipment and no other service will satisfy the agency's requirements. The purpose of this Purchase Order is to obtain VWR Animal Rearing Chambers VIA GSA. This equipment is an animal rearing chambers which meets the sound attenuation enclosures with the requirements for temperature and humidity control in order to ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations. Theses animal rearing chambers are required to house unique mouse phenotypers and automated cognition walls for continuous behavioral monitoring; essential capabilities for the cross divisional (DNTP/DIR/DERT)neurosciences collaborations. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes.
