The Food and Drug Administration, Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services, Facility Support Branch on behalf of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to TSI Incorporated (TSI), an other than small business, located at 500 Cardigan Road, Shoreview, Minnesota 55126 for the purchase of one (1) Next Generation Cascade Impactor (NGI+ TSI 0170-01-2000) with accessories. During market research, it was discovered no other alternative can meet the Government’s need and that the desired item is only distributed and available by MSP Corp, a division of TSI, which does not have any authorized resellers for any of its inhalation pharmaceutical portfolio products in North America, which includes the NGI+ Next Gen Impactor. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which allows the Contracting Officer to solicit from one source. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, if any party, especially a small business believes it can fulfill this requirement, it may submit their interest and capability statement to Contracting Officer, Sheneil Green, at Sheneil.Green@fda.hhs.gov no later than 12:00 PM EST on February 8, 2024. Information received will be used solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed action based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that an award will be issued to TSI within approximately seven (7) calendar days after the expiration date of this notice. No phone calls will be accepted.
