The Food and Drug Administration, Office of Acquisitions and Grant Services, Facility Support Branch intends to issue a sole-source, firm fixed price purchase order to Fluid Imaging Technologies, Inc.... The Food and Drug Administration, Office of Acquisitions and Grant Services, Facility Support Branch intends to issue a sole-source, firm fixed price purchase order to Fluid Imaging Technologies, Inc. located at 200 Enterprise Drive. Scarborough, ME 04074. The anticipated purchase order is for one (1) FlowCam 8100 B&W system with Light Obsuration capability, available with the 10X objective only with training and one (1) year comprehensive manufactures parts and labor warranty. An award will be made in accordance with FAR subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which allows the Contracting Officer to solicit from one source. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it can meet this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if it can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that an award will be issued to Fluid Imaging Technologies, Inc. within approximately seven (7) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capability to meet this requirement.
