A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health , Clinical Center, Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Department intends to procure a firm-fixed price award on a sole source basis to Ipharma Supports, lLC W Byers Place Denver, 80223-1826. The NIH PET Department manufactures multiple PET Drug products for the NIH clinic each day. NIH PET purchased several Trasis All in One synthesizer systems that are now used to purify and isolate F-18 and C-11 labeled PET radiopharmaceuticals. NIH PET seeks to have a back-up All in One Synthesizer system in case one of the existing systems becomes inoperable. Additionally, this new Trasis synthesizer will expand NIH PET radiopharmaceutical capabilities- allowing for more PET radiopharmaceuticals to be prepared during the PET production schedule This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b). Interested concerns capable of providing the same or similar products or services as described in this notice may submit a capability statement outlining their capabilities. Capability Statements must be received within the time set forth in this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
