The technologies sought are expected to function in routine healthcare settings such as emergency departments (ED) as well as in specialized burn centers and trauma units. Imaging technologies that are well-integrated in routine healthcare settings inherently build national preparedness and the capability to apply these tools during mass casualties involving burn injuries.
