The purpose of this justification is to extend the ordering period for multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts under the NIH Business and Professional Support Services (BPSSIII) program for a total of 12 months by extending the ordering period of the current IDIQ portfolio. The total ceiling value of these contracts remains unchanged. The new ordering period would be extended through August 12, 2026. This zero-dollar extension is necessary to ensure continuity of essential services that will enable multiple Institutes and Centers (I/C) of the NIH Intramural Research Program to share scientific resources across the NIH. This procurement is integral in ensuring there are no gaps in service while a follow-on contract is processed and awarded.
