The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is soliciting proposals to develop medical countermeasures and biodosimetry devices for radiation injuries from a nuclear incident, advancing them toward FDA approval. The estimated average annual cost is $2 million, with a total award of up to $6 million over a performance period not to exceed three years. Proposals must include a Statement of Work based on the candidate's development stage and will be evaluated on supporting data, scientific approach, and personnel and facility adequacy. The Broad Agency Announcement will be available electronically on or about February 4, 2026. Proposals must be submitted via the NIAID electronic Contract Proposal Submission (eCPS) website.
