A sole source bridge award was made for services in support of Programmatic Assistance for Tribal Home Visiting (PATH II) Technical Assistance. The purpose of this sole source bridge contract is to provide the Office of Early Childhood Development (ECD) with Technical Assistance (TA) services for the Tribal Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (Tribal MIECHV) program. Section 511 of Title V of the Social Security Act authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to award grants to Indian tribes (or a consortium of Indian tribes), tribal organizations, or urban Indian organizations to conduct an early childhood home visiting program. The legislation also requires ACF to provide TA to Tribal MIECHV grant recipients. Tribal MIECHV grant recipients require program implementation services associated with implementing evidence-based home visiting models to American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) children and families.
