CDC intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Family Health Centers of San Diego, Inc. to develop and implement tele-mentoring and webinar educational programs on complex infection-associated chronic conditions and illnesses (IACCIs). The intended awardee has coordinated related national webinars and on-demand short courses for primary care providers and has supported the only online medical education and mentoring program on ME/CFS clinical management for primary care settings. CDC states this background provides continuity and supports an updated curriculum and materials because of the awardee’s ongoing involvement in CDC educational programs in this area. This action is planned as a sole-source solicitation/negotiation under simplified procedures, and CDC notes the notice is not a request for competitive quotations but will consider responses to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
