The CDC intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to ARAMETER GENERATION AND CONTROL, INC. for the maintenance and service of three proprietary environmental chambers located in its Tobacco Laboratories. This is a brand-name procurement because the chambers are custom-built by this manufacturer, which possesses the unique technical expertise, exclusive access to original parts and software, and factory-trained engineers required for service. The Government will consider responses from other interested parties received within fifteen days of the notice's issuance for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response must be emailed to the specified contract specialist.
